Privacy, no small print.

We set exactly one essential cookie, fairboard.session_token, so you stay signed in for seven days. A second, five-minute-lived cache cookie keeps the session snappy. Neither can be switched off — without them there's no login.

There are no third-party cookies and no advertising cookies on this site, ever.

One privacy-first pixel counts unique visitors so we can price pay-per-click honestly — our costs depend on real traffic numbers. It loads only when you click Accept in the consent banner. Click Essentials only and nothing loads; you simply aren't counted.

Your choice is stored in your browser. Clear your site data to change it, and the banner will ask again.

We ask for it when you submit a tool, and use it for three things: sending your magic link, proving you own your listing, and telling you when moderation decides. It is never sold and never added to a list without you asking.

The weekly newsletter is opt-in only, and every issue carries an unsubscribe link that works on the first click.

What you publish — title, description, maker's note, URL and logo — is public, by design: it's a leaderboard. A draft you haven't published yet never leaves your browser; it's stored locally until you publish it or clear your site data.

Each sign-in records your IP address and browser type, kept briefly for security — that's the standard line, and here it's the true one. Nothing about your visits to the board itself is logged.

Two companies process data on our behalf: Convex (the database) and BillionMail (transactional email). Both are bound by contract to use your data only for the job we pay them for, and nothing else.

Under the GDPR you can access, correct, export or erase your data, and withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@fairboard.io — a real human answers, usually the same day.

Ask for deletion and we remove your listing, your email, and the logs tied to it. Analytics data is aggregate and anonymous, so there's nothing personal to erase there.
